Walkthrough of both trivial and a few unusual automation potentials around your home. My ecosystem is built around Apple Homekit, but mostly from non-certified components. How far can you go today without coding? What are the cases where you should do your own magic? What are the available/accessible components/platforms worth investing in?

Gábor Farkas
Cloud Architect
About
I wrote my first pieces of code as a child. I took the long journey from IS-BASIC to Java, going through Pascal, a lot of Assembler, carefully avoiding C++. And yes, also PHP. I was young and needed the money. I started working with Java Enterprise around 2007 and had a short detour to the finance industry. I was happy to arrive at Aliz ten years ago. I'm currently working for one of our large key accounts as a Cloud Architect. As a hobby, I enjoy building Lego Technic stuff with my kids. I can't wait for them to grow old enough for robotic sets.
Roland Béres
Software Engineer
About
I'm that kind of a developer who is not a master of any technology but able to tinker with anything. I worked at Nokia, Morgan Stanley as a software engineer and at GreenFox Academy as a mentor doing everything from full-stack development to low level C++ coding. Currently I'm working at Instructure on a learning management system written in Ruby on Rails and React.
Balázs Bozsogi
VP of Engineering
About
I started my career as a software developer, but early on I realized that the development flow interested me more than actual coding. Since then, I have played many roles in software engineering, focusing on how to create better and better software. I have been with Aliz since 2016 in various positions: Project Manager, Head of Project Management, and Chief Operations Officer. Nowadays I lead the entire delivery organization as VP of Engineering and I am part of the management team.
