You will be working on

  • developing cloud-based products.
  • supporting a full-scope digital marketing agency that specializes in automotive marketing and works for international clients across multiple countries.
  • solving complex problems in collaboration with colleagues in Budapest.
  • scaling the application on Google Cloud Platform as the user base grows.
  • optimizing the code and data structures to make the application fast and to keep the users happy.
  • tracking down tricky problems in a distributed production system.
  • challenging the specifications and suggesting a better way, if there is one, for the customer.
  • performing code reviews and teaching each other new tricks.

You will need

  • strong experience in Java development.
  • good oral and written communication skills both in Hungarian and English.
  • the ability to work independently.
  • creative problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • an openness to new technologies with a demand for continual self-development/improvement.
  • good customer-handling skills with a great understanding of their needs and an ability to direct them toward a better solution.

It would be nice if you also have

  • experience in complex enterprise projects.
  • Google Cloud Platform experience.
  • practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum).
  • containerization, Docker, Kubernetes experience.
  • Wicket experience.
