We are growing in the DACH region and need a Cloud Architect who can create an amazing experience for our customers as they build and maintain solutions in Google Cloud.

You will be responsible for...

acting as a trusted advisor to our customers in developing a winning cloud strategy and building a successful roadmap to the cloud for them.
understanding our customers’ needs and translating them into a feasible cloud solution design.
architecting and deploying cloud solutions based on Google Cloud Platform.
using the Google Cloud SDK (Java and/or Python and command line) every day.
providing technical support in pre-sales.
developing a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform solutions and keeping up-to-date with what’s new in the cloud.
holding technical training sessions for our customers.
solving seemingly unsolvable problems by using innovative cloud services and technologies.

You will need...

a minimum of 5 years’ development and/or system administration experience, including 2 years in a cloud environment.
Java and/or Python knowledge.
hands-on experience in at least one of the following fields and familiarity with more than one: Big Data, Machine Learning, Infrastructure as a Service, and containerization.
a comprehensive and systematic approach to your work.
a learning attitude.
good communication skills in German and English.
client-facing skills and consulting experience.

It would be nice if you also had...

experience with Google Cloud Platform.
some knowledge of AWS, Azure, or OpenStack.
your own pet project, which you started from scratch.
a fondness for travel.
the ambition to provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues.
