Sales Manager (Italy)

To further grow our footprint, we are looking for a seasoned Sales Representative who can help us kick start our business in Italy. As a Sales Rep, you will introduce our solutions, services, and products to well-reputed enterprises and the region’s most exciting and fastest-growing startups. You will build on our existing partnerships with C-level executives and develop new relationships with business unit leaders. 

We are heavily investing in the EMEA region and saw exponential growth in 2020. We have already expanded our presence in the DACH region and are seeing further growth opportunities in other countries. The role is partially a business development effort, since we want to get our business in Italy up and running as quickly as possible, with regional headquarters in Milan.

You are the one who

  • through a ‘techie’ mindset bridges the gap between business and technology.
  • qualifies and generates sales leads.
  • builds new relationships within Google.
  • drives upsell with existing clients.
  • makes insightful presentations and conducts negotiation meetings.
  • uses your experience in account management to drive upsells.
  • demonstrates an understanding of cloud computing and the broader data and AI technology landscape.
  • operates on your own with little oversight.
  • speaks native Italian and is based in Milan.

It’s a bonus if you have

  • experience with solution selling.
  • an understanding of Google’s internal processes and culture.
  • knowledge of B2B enterprise IT sales processes and key decision-makers.
  • familiarity with the e-commerce, retail, or manufacturing industries.
  • experience in cloud computing, big data, or Machine Learning.
